The agreement behind that little checkbox — in plain language.
Prism of the Wind is an unpublished manuscript. By requesting an advance copy, you're agreeing to the terms below.
A digital copy of Prism of the Wind, sent by email a few weeks ahead of release, in EPUB and/or PDF format. This is a pre-publication copy and may differ slightly from the final released edition.
One honest review — positive, negative, or anywhere between — posted publicly on or shortly after release day. Amazon is the most helpful platform for a debut author, but Goodreads, StoryGraph, Instagram, TikTok, or your blog are all welcome too. We'll send a reminder with the release date and review links closer to the time.
ARC files may be individually watermarked. This helps us understand how copies move and protects the book — and by extension, protects the readers who honor the terms above from being lumped in with the ones who don't.
Life happens. If you're no longer able to finish the book or write a review, just let us know — no hard feelings, and no obligation to explain. We'd only ask that you don't keep or share the file if you're stepping back from the review.
Readers who complete their reviews are welcome back for future ARC rounds in the series. This isn't a punishment system — we just want to keep the circle small enough to stay personal.
Questions about any of this? Reach out through our contact page — we're happy to talk it through.
Thank you for reading this before anyone else does. It means more than the review itself.
